iPad Battery

The iPad is the latest invention of the mobile device family, is a cross between a smartphone and a pc and starts at just $499. Being a mere 1.5 pounds and roughly the size of a book, this little machine can do just about anything a pc can do and accomplishes each task with the touch of a finger. Smartphone users will quickly adapt to all of the functions. Web browsing, watching movies, viewing photographs, receiving and sending emails, gaming and listening to music in addition to optional business applications, make the iPad Battery more versatile and useful than a netbook.

The screen and casing are finger print resistant on the 9.5”x7.47”x0.5” frame. The 1GHz Apple A4 processor makes quick work of navigating around files or web browsing. Models can be purchased with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB flash storage. The accelerometer, ambient light sensor and IPS (in plane switching) allow the 9.7” screen to be viewed at up to a 178 degree angle and adjusts the view quickly from landscape to portrait and back again.

The built in factory installed iPad Battery has a 10 hour lifespan and a 10 year warranty. The docking port also makes a convenient stand to watch movies and videos on the multi touch screen. The 30 pin connector on the bottom accepts connections to camera kits, an optional keyboard dock, pc’s or projectors. Models include 802.11n WiFi or optional 3G networks. WiFi networks are automatically detected. Bluetooth 2.1+EDR is also factory installed. Built in speakers, a telephone jack and built in microphone are standard.

Specific apps are in development but any of the current 140,000 items from the iapps store can be downloaded and used. Applications from itunes, ibooks, or iapps are easily accessible as all 3 stores are loaded onto the iPad Battery. A factory installed YouTube application enables videos to be seen in full screen with brilliant clarity and color. The email app works with Mobileme, Yahoomail, Gmail, Hotmail and AOL. Messages are viewed one at a time or in a split screen. An onscreen keyboard allows users to compose email and works in the iWorks applications to produce amazing documents.

Calendar pages can be viewed in their entirety or specific reminders can be opened from the dates themselves. View each month in full screen or thumb through them in book form with pages side by side. Contacts may be listed on one side with individual entries on the other. Tap an address and bring up a map that can be zoomed in for the actual view of the neighborhood.

Spotlight search enables users to scan through all stored files easily. Files are manipulated, opened, closed or changed by swiping a finger horizontally, vertically, or by spreading or closing fingers over the screen. Photographs can be displayed as a slide show similar to a digital photo frame, or viewed one at a time. The iPod app easily accesses music by album, song, artist or genre.
